“Members and non-members alike are welcome at our non-denominational worship services.” Dr. Mike Wetzel, Pastor

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift

The Island Chapel Welcomes You!

Our Missions: Local, National and International

recent and upcoming Events!

celebration of the birth of our lord and savior!

The Island Chapel had a busy Christmas Season, full of fun and meaningful events. The Grace and Glory Women's Ministry held their annual luncheon, cookie and gift swap. This year, the ladies adopted ten survivors of abuse from S.T.A.A.R. Ministry by filling Christmas bags for each.

Each year, the members of the church enjoy filling Christmas "shoeboxes" for children around the world. This year, more than 100 boxes were sent to children ages 2 -14 through Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child.

Once again, The Island Chapel sponsored the annual Christmas musicale. This year, "Now and Forever" was held at the beautiful Mahaffey Theater on December 14th.

On December 20th, the children of The Island Chapel hosted the annual Children's Christmas Party with the children of the Next Stepp Pregnancy Center. It was a delightful event for all the families to share.

At the heart of all this activity is our worship services. Dr. Mike Wetzel prepared special Christmas messages for the weeks leading up to Christmas, and for Christmas Eve.

Coming soon... Easter preparations...Children's Vacation Bible School...and more!

  • Our Mission

    Our mission: to take care of the flock and to win people to Christ. One acronym best expresses our main focus: WIFE
    W = Worship God in all we do;
    I = Instruction; share the Word of God with others;
    F = Fellowship, an integral part of our mission;
    E = Evangelism, or expression of our faith

  • Mission Programs

    Through our mission programs, we express our faith, share the Word of God, often with those who have never heard it, worship God and share fellowship with people from different cultures. In addition to international mission trips to Haiti, Cuba, Jakarta and other locations, we have an active local/national mission program. Read "more."
